Return & Exchange Policy — Rustic Elegance Boutique
Effective date: July 15, 2025
We want you to love what you order. If your purchase isn’t right, we’ll make returns and exchanges simple and fair. Please read the policy below for full details.
1. Returns Window
- You may return unworn, unwashed, and undamaged clothing items within 30 days of the delivery date for a refund to the original payment method or for an exchange.
- After 30 days, we can only offer store credit valid for 12 months from the issue date.
2. Condition Requirements
To be eligible for a refund or exchange, items must:
- Be in original condition (no wear, stretching, or odors).
- Have all original tags and packaging attached.
- Not show signs of washing, perfume, makeup, deodorant, or pet hair.
- Include the original packing slip or order number.
Final sale or custom-made items (including personalized, altered, or made-to-order pieces) are not eligible for return or exchange unless defective.
3. How to Start a Return or Exchange
- Contact us at monacok33@icloud.com with your order number, item(s) you want to return, and whether you’d like a refund or exchange.
- We’ll email you a return authorization and instructions within 1–2 business days.
- Pack the item securely and ship using your chosen carrier, or drop it off in-store at:

In-store returns: Bring the item and original packing slip within 30 days. In-store returns are processed immediately as store credit or exchange; refunds to the original payment method may take a few business days to appear on your statement.
4. Return Shipping & Fees
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or we shipped the wrong product.
- If you choose to use a prepaid return label we provide, a return shipping fee may be deducted from your refund.
- We recommend using a tracked shipping service — Rustic Elegance is not responsible for lost returns that do not have tracking.
5. Refunds & Timing
- Once we receive your return and inspect it, we will notify you by email and process the refund within 7–10 business days.
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Processing time for refunds varies by bank or card issuer.
- If you selected store credit or an exchange, we will process and issue it within 3 business days of inspecting the return.
6. Exchanges
- Want a different size or color? Request an exchange in your return request email. Exchanges are subject to stock availability.
- If the replacement item costs more than the original purchase, we will request payment for the difference. If it costs less, we will refund the difference.
7. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
- If an item arrives damaged, defective, or if we sent the wrong product, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at monacok33@icloud.com with photos and your order number.
- We will provide a prepaid return label and either send a replacement or issue a full refund, including shipping.
8. Gift Returns
- Gift recipients may return eligible items within 30 days for store credit (a gift receipt or order number is required to process a return as a gift).
- If the original purchaser requests a refund for an item returned by a gift recipient, we will refund the original payment method if possible.
9. International Orders
- International customers are subject to their country’s import taxes, duties, and customs fees — these are non-refundable.
- Customers are responsible for return shipping on international orders unless the item is defective or an error was made by Rustic Elegance Boutique.
10. Lost Returns
- If you ship a return and it is lost in transit, contact the carrier immediately and provide us with the tracking number. If you used a traceable shipping method and can provide proof of shipment, we will work with you to locate the package. We are not responsible for returns shipped without tracking.
